The shapes remind me of an opposite of the "scrunch your eye up and paint over it" technique - which is cool to see :] and also leaves :]

What technique is that? I'm not familiar with it. :D

Where you scrunch up your eye and put paint or eye shadow over, so that when you relax you get this opposite crease look :) Pixiwoo did it a month or so ago, but obv it has been around for quite some time :] [link]

is there a tiny bit of blue on the eyelid?
kinda right above the pupil?
not sure if its actually there or if its a trick of the light but its on both sides
looks super cool btw

There's not, actually- I think it's just the light from the window. Thanks for pointing it out, though- I hadn't noticed it at all!!

I tend to look at every single little detail of something cool like that

Ooh, I love the organized chaos of this one! So cool colors, too. It's pretty awesome, my friend! ^_^

(By the way, I squee'd like a little girl when I saw the dress pics!! Your head-piece and jewelry really hit it out of the park. Oh, and I sooo want a parasol now. lol)

:glomp: I'm glad you got them! Your beautiful work really made that faire memorable and wonderful. It was so much fun finding accessories- I was buying things as soon as I saw your in-progress pics, I was just so excited.

 How have you been, lady?

Oh I've been at bat with a spoon lately, but I'm surviving. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be able to get around to the Halloween costumes for the family. Still, I can't wait. Fortunately, the heat has finally started to die down. :aww:

I've never heard that expression before... but I like it! Even though I'm sorry you've been going through some trialing times, I'm glad you're still afloat.

Ooooh, Halloween plans. o_O So exciting. Anything you have on your 'wishlist' for what you'd want to be this year? (Or make for the kiddos?)

I'm looking at corset ideas- I'll have to harass you at your shop soon.

Thank you, my friend. It's been rough, but I'm happy with happiness. ^_^

I'll normally try to make a new dress for myself each year and wear it on the busiest "Halloween street" to try and build a repertoire, as it were. I made these elf ear tips out of wire, so I was thinking of wearing those with this year's dress (only half done...). I confess, the dress I am only halfway done with so far is going to be much like your blue dress, but in red (I love red on any day of the week). I only have the skirts done, though. :(

The boys both want to be characters that I'll have no hope finding in stores, but we're good with that. I get so excited that the boys will have a costume that no other kid will. ^_^ Are you dressing up?

I'll certainly be looking out for a message from you!

Ooh, how exciting! I'd love to see pictures of your dress. I love your work, and you did so well on my blue dress- it'd be great to see even elements of it in red. :D

That's so sweet that you make your boys' costumes. My mother always made our outfits from scratch, and as a result, Halloweens were so precious in my household. One of the most cherished childhood moments. Bless you for setting that up for your boys! They'll always remember it.

I may do what I did last year- do an elaborate paint on Halloween, but not dress up. I am not gifted with the clothing creation gene. XD I don't have a lot of ideas for this year, either.
