...I didn't let him move for SO long. Poor man. I didn't want the wax to go all haywire. And yes, the border is wax.
This design irritated me somewhat... because I originally wanted to make it look much more realistic... then I realized 'ah, then the fish won't be visible enough, because they'll be so smaaall...' So I introduce you to: the NY City apartment-style koi pond: hope you get along with your roommate, because your face is never going to be out of their rear end.
This looked so much better in person- just vivid-ness and details, but I'm not wholly unhappy with how it turned out.
Time: Don't know- he was working on something so we didn't turn on anything. A while, though. Medium:: Wolfe Brothers, some Ben Nye. Wax.
This is really interesting, but I wish you would have blended the scar wax to the skin a little better so it looked like a layer have skin had been peeled off and there was a pond underneath. Overall I like it. The Koi look very nice.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
