Quiss doesn't really like humans, but wants very much for them to like her. She remembers vaguely her last Earth visit- but it wasn't nearly as fun. "Stop playing with the dinosaurs, sweetie. They're going extinct."
...Mothers are such a drag.

I got home from work early, and just wanted to play. So that's what this is. How I decided what to do was based off of two facts: I am quite pale, and I have big, dark eyebrows that are verrrry hard to ignore/wax over in makeup projects. Sure, I can makeup over them, but it doesn't ever look right- so more often than not, I'm forced to use them in the design. So for this play session, I figured- hey, why not basically just compliment the fact that, yes, my whole color scheme is pretty much brown and white: white skin, brown eyebrows, brown hair. XD
Time: First 1/2 of "What Dreams May Come" Medium: Ben Nye White applied w/ a sponge, brown cheapo applied with a paintbrush in most places, my fingers in some others.
I have the same problem with my eyebrows in make-up. When I do queens with CATS faces, they often require very thin, arched brows above my natural line, so I have to cake half of them with the color above my eye to get the right effect. Very troublesome!
I love the brown spotting on this. Neck painting is teh <3.
Why shankya! I like getting (or giving myself, rather) an excuse to do painting on more than just my face. ^_^
I can see what you mean about the eyebrows, too, looking through your gallery. You do a very good job of it, though- I wouldn't have known from just the CATS faces that you have dark eyebrows. Ah, what we suffer through for art. XD

And thanks, in turn - it takes a bit of perfecting. Most people can paint brows directly over their natural ones, but that just seems to make me look as if I have two sets of them. Via copious blending, caking, and half-and-halfing, I can usually disguise the problem. XD

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
