I didn't have anything in particular in mind for Halloween, so I decided to do a full-length rag doll. (After I'm done uploading images here, I'll put a few full-length pictures in scraps. I layered some pretty awesome dresses/skirts to get a good look, and painted a few patches on my arms as well.)
I made the decision not to use a white base on this rag doll, mostly because I was going to be wearing it for several hours- and because my arms were going to be bare.
Few other things: The cherry scrap on my neck... I actually have a shirt with that material. My fingers are stained red because I helped "zombify" the boy, and I didn't have the time to scrub-a-lub well enough to get it all out. I was going to spirit gum buttons here n' there... but couldn't find my button box ANYWHERE! Someone asked me if my eye color was real or not. Of ALL the things to focus on when I'm in this getup! This got me kicked out of a casino. That story's on the first upload... This is the makeup after it's been worn for about 3 hours.
Time: I didn't keep very good track. Nothing was on behind me. Maybe 2 hours? Medium: Mostly Wolfe Brothers. Some street makeup.
you're so gorgeous :] i love it. i can't believe security escorted you out! that just seems ridiculous to me... but what a creative costume. i hope your halloween still was fun. <3
^_^ I did have fun- not as much as I'd hoped, but at the very least I'm glad for a new story. Not often I get escorted out of a place- I'm so law abiding I could probably make a career out of it.
Thank you! As per always. ^___^

*laugh* People said that about the last rag doll I did, too. I suppose it's just because she's the predominant rag doll on folks' minds- even though she had no patches on her face. ^_^

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
