This is for the DA Seventh B-day contest, specifically the Traditional Art section: [link] . It's 'Sloth'.

...Do you know how HARD the concept of "sloth" is to get across in makeup? Sloth is laziness, apathy, entropy. Technically, I should have just taken a picture of my makeup kit and gone "I was too lazy to do a project. So there." ...But I don't think that'd fly. So we hop on the back of my good friend, symbolism!

I decided:

Sloth is a bit of a grey and yellow girl- colors that don't suggest anything but wishy washy, one way or the other. Even blacks and whites have a tendency to be polarized, stand on themselves and their opinions. Greys and yellows don't give a flying f.

Sloth's lips have gone into a bit of disrepair. She uses them to voice an opinion so seldom. You'd almost forget they were there.

Sloth's eyes are glazed over. Things right beneath her sight are dark, boring.

Anything Sloth might do to improve herself, the world around her, or her visage- they're right there, hidden from her sight. She just doesn't care enough to put them into action- so there they stay. Flat. Slipping down her form until one day they'll be at a puddle around her feet.

* My hair did NOT want to stay teased.
* I cleaned my neck off with a sponge. XD
* For some reason, while I was cleaning makeup off my right eye, it started to SCREAM in stinging pain. I swear, somewhere at that moment, Satan looked up and thought "I love it. I must add it to my repetoire..."
* Traditional Art Category got the hard sin. No fair.
* The comments written on my neck are all notes from my idea journal for makeup projects. I just went through and copied a whole bunch.
