This came from a snippet I wrote in an idea book- a piece of imagery in which I wondered what it would look like if someone didn't remember which way was the 'right' way to slit your wrists- and so they did it in all directions. I imagined it would look something like a Suicide Sun.

I don't like how the camera picked up the colors- I barely used any yellow, and it seems to zoom in on it- but at least I got to see the concept.

Few disclaimers: no, I am not especially morbid, and no, I'm not suicidal. *laugh* And yes, I know that it would either be much bloodier than this, and in less a state of bruising/decay, or not bloody and all and in this state- but it's not supposed to be esp. realistic. 8D It's artiiiiistic. And I had WAY too much fun with the mottling/layering of the color palette.

Time: For the entirety of a MASH rerun
Medium: Wax, fake blood (I can't find my congealing blood ;_; Sadness...) and regular old makeup applied with my fingers.
